BAF 2024
‘Thank you for your interest to apply for the Open Call for Creative practitioners by the Behala Art Fest, Season 5. We welcome applications from creative practitioners both individual and group based in or out of Kolkata with work/project interest on Behala and adjacent areas.’
ABOUT:
In this season, Behala Art Fest has brough together two creative thinkers with diverse practices to curate this edition. An approach that is varied in process but focus on the chronicles of Time & Space of a selected site. An intersection of practices that creates a dialogue of diverse narratives brought forward by the creative practitioners. The main title this year is ‘WHERE THE ROADS INTERSECT: Narratives of Time & Space’ with two sub headers-
- ‘Reverberate the Shift’ by Anuradha Pathak and
- ‘Times that Spoke/ Times that speak- সময় এর স্রোত ও জীবন প্রবাহ’ by Ayan Mukherjee.

ELIGIBILITY:
- Individuals or Collective may Apply.
- Applicant should be above 21 years of age at the time of submission.
MATERIALS TO SUBMIT:
- Complete Application Form.
- Resume: Current resume of the applicant/s. Include a list of projects/works done so far in the public domain, along with images and descriptions.
- Images/video clips: Minimum of 6 and maximum of 10 images of the applicant’s current work/project. For video works, maximum 10 minutes of video file(s) will be allowed. The video files(s) should be uploaded in the Youtube and Youtube link to be shared.
- All materials should be submitted via Google Form Link mentioned below.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
- Shortlisted applicants will be require to do an presentation and submit a proposal if needed along with timeline and budget.
- Shortlisted applicants will be require to attend the walkthrough/workshops/interactions between June-December either online or onsite with the curators.
