Deep Das

Deep Das is a practicing artist based in Kolkata who works as an assistant art director in Bengali Film Industry. He has completed his bachelor’s and master’s degree programs from the Govt. College of Art and Craft, Calcutta in the years 2017and 2019, respectively. He has participated in several group exhibitions in the city, including the Annual Art Exhibition of West Bengal State Akademi of Dance Drama Music And Visual Art, 2017 and 2020; Birla Academy Annual Exhibition (2017, 2018, and 2019); the Govt. College of Art and Craft Students’ Annual Exhibition (2014-’19) and How Tomorrow Might Be, for the Behala Art Fest, 2021. He is also the recipient of several awards, including the College Award In the Annual Exhibition of the Govt. College of Art And Craft, Calcutta for 2014 to 2019 and best installation award from Birla Group 2016.
